This year's 35^th annual Winner Tiberias Marathon registration is coming to an end. Registration closes December 15, 2011. There are already over 1, 400 runners from all around the world signed up to compete in this race.  The marathon organizing committee is expecting to set new records for number of participants. There will be athletes from the following countries; Australia, Belgium, Britain, Canada, Finland, Germany, Israel and the U.S.A running in the marathon. The Winner Tiberias Marathon is also used as a qualification race for elite runners to compete in the European Championships and the 2012 Olympic games which will be held in London.
